What happens when we turn our hearts back to God in prayer?
In Daniel 9, we find Daniel seeking the Lord with prayer, fasting, confession, and a deep desire to understand God's plans. As Daniel acknowledges the sins of his people and pleads for God's mercy, we are reminded of the importance of repentance, humility, and faithfulness in our own walk with the Lord.
This chapter challenges us to examine our hearts, recognize our need for God's grace, and trust in His faithfulness even when we don't fully understand His timing or purposes. Daniel's prayer reminds us that God hears the prayers of His people and that His promises remain sure.
Join us at Appleton City Fellowship as we explore Daniel 9 and discover what this powerful chapter teaches us about prayer, repentance, God's sovereignty, and the hope we have in Him.
A Special Celebration of New Life in Christ!
At the end of our service, we had the joy of celebrating the baptisms of Blayne and Stacie Varnes! Baptism is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ, symbolizing our identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. What a beautiful reminder that God is still transforming lives and calling people to follow Him!
We rejoice with Blayne and Stacie as they take this important step of faith. May their lives continue to reflect the love, grace, and truth of Jesus Christ!
