What do you do when standing for God comes with a cost?
In Daniel 6, Daniel finds himself facing a decision that could cost him his life. His enemies use his faithfulness against him, the king is manipulated into signing a deadly decree, and Daniel is thrown into a den of lions.
But Daniel never wavers.
His circumstances change. The law changes. The pressure increases. But Daniel’s commitment to God remains the same.
Daniel 6 challenges us to ask: Are we faithful to God only when it is convenient, or will we remain faithful when obedience costs us something?
In this message from Appleton City Fellowship, we look at Daniel’s courage, his consistency, and his unwavering trust in God. Daniel didn’t begin praying when the crisis came—he had already established a life of faithfulness long before the lions appeared.
The same God who shut the mouths of lions is still worthy of our trust today.
