Erik serves as an Executive Pastor with a genuine love for Jesus, the local church, and people. His journey to ministry has been anything but ordinary. Erik did not follow Christ until later in life, but when he surrendered his life to Jesus, the work of the Holy Spirit changed the direction of his life. That transformation continues to shape the way he views faith, leadership, and ministry.
A significant part of Erik’s faith journey has been the support and encouragement of his wife, Kristin. She has been an important part of his spiritual growth and has continually encouraged him in his walk with Christ and his calling to serve the church. Erik is grateful for the way God has used their marriage and their journey together to strengthen his faith and deepen his dependence on Christ.
Today, Erik is passionate about helping others experience the same kind of life-changing relationship with Jesus. He loves building relationships, developing leaders, and working alongside pastors, staff, and volunteers to help the church thrive. He brings a heart for discipleship together with a practical approach to leadership, ministry development, and creating healthy teams.
One of Erik’s greatest joys is investing in people—encouraging them, equipping them, and helping them take their next step with Christ. He has a particular passion for families and the next generation and believes the church is at its best when people of every age are growing, serving, and making disciples together.
At the heart of Erik’s ministry is a simple desire: to love God, love people, and help others know and follow Jesus. Because he knows what it is like to live without Christ and then experience the transforming work of the Holy Spirit, Erik never takes the opportunity to serve God or His church for granted.
