Linguistics

Geoffery has finished up Syntax and has moved onto Advanced Phonemics. He'll finish with Applied Linguistics right before we leave for Kansas City.

We will head to Kansas City at the end of September to begin the Practicum with our PNG language helper, Simon.

ACF Men’s Retreat!

On August 21st, the men of Appleton City Fellowship drove to Arkansas for a weekend retreat. They spend some time in Timothy and talked about what it means to be qualified.

Praise the Lord for a fruitful trip. The affirmation and confirmation many of the men gave/received from eachother was truly inspiring.

Ministry Partnership Development

The picture above reminds us about how we are to be anticipating our Lord’s return. Everyday we pray we would honor and glorify Him with our lives.

In January we will start full time MPD. Meeting with as many people as we can, sharing about what the Lord is doing on the field we hope to head to, and the command He's given us (His followers).

We are blown away at how He has been providing us with the partnerships needed to go to Papua New Guinea. We are continuing to pray and do what we can while in training to reach the requirements for monthly financial support to head overseas.

• Pray for Geoffery in Linguistics, for wisdom, understanding and patience! Pray for us as we plan and prepare to move to Kansas City on the 25th for 8 weeks.

• Pray that we can continue to be faithful with our time during our last few weeks.

• Pray for us to learn to hear and speak Tok Pisin.
